Researchers at the University of Southampton claim to have made a ground-breaking breakthrough in computer technology. Data storage technologies to be exact. 

This small disc can accommodate data worth 2,800 Blu-Ray discs for millions of years !

Coined as "Superman Memory Crystals" after the memory crystals in the movie "Superman" containing the history and knowledge of the planet "Krypton", these 5-D memory  discs, are the only human technology with the ability to even outlive the human race! Even without losing any data stored in it, Thus giving us a chance to preserve all that we've learned almost eternally, thereby giving a chance to other intelligent life forms which come across it to learn about us.

A group of scientists at the CERN laboratories theorize that a particle known as "HIGGS SINGLET"  travel through the fifth dimension (the first, second, third and fourth being length, breadth, height and time respectively, which we all live in).

With the discovery of higgs boson, or "god particle", if you may, many scientists are highly positive on finding this sub-atomic part of the higgs boson.

This particle enters the fifth dimension and then may pop back into our dimensions a bit back or ahead in time, i.e effectively travelling through time. This particle, may even be travelling through time right now as you read this!

S.E.O, Short for "SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION", is being touted as the next big thing on the internet.
The formal definition goes-

"S.E.O stands for search engine optimization. It is the process of getting traffic from "free","organic","editorial" or natural listings of a search engine."

It is the technique (or may i say "art") of enhancing the visibility of a particular website, blog in the search results of a search engine.

Consider this situation -

You have a business you want to promote on the internet, so that your customer base,and hence your profit eventually increases.

What you would normally do is create a website or a blog dedicated for promoting your business. This way, all the people who visit your website can get information regarding the services you offer, the products you offer etc etc.

 Now the question that arises here is,"How would people find your website?" , "How would they know of your website's "existence"? One simple answer is through the largest data distribution machine on the planet, "GOOGLE"!

Now the problem that arises here is that, all over the world there may be thousands of 

businesses which share the same name as yours. Hence, your website's position in the search result of google will be somewhere in the last few pages of the search result. 

To avoid this scenario, search engine optimization is practiced, to make your website famous on the internet, without paying for advertisements.

The human race, has come a long way from inventing the wheel to proving what was touted as science "fiction" as "facts".

Mainstream science is now discovering new concepts which will change our basic understandings of the universe we see around us.

A "wormhole", often featured in sci-fi flicks, are supposed to be hypothetical tunnels through the space-time fabric, which link extremely far-off locations.

Portals do actually exist, sort-of and a  NASA funded researcher at the university of Iowa has figured out how to find them.

"We call them x-points or electron diffusion regions," explains plasma physicist Jack Scudder of the university of Iowa."they're places where the magnetic field of earth connects with the magnetic field of sun, creating an un-interrupted path leading from our planet to the atmosphere in sun, 93 million miles away."

This, being my first post on my first blog, i wanted it to be something that connects with everyone around the world, whether you are from Asia, America, Africa, or any other corner of the world...this article is for "YOU".
And i realized, this "something" that everyone runs around for every given day, whether knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or un-intentionally, consciously or sub-consciously, is "happiness"!

We all want a good job, the latest cell phone in the market, a stylish car, a huge house..we wanna stay young..we want a beautiful girlfriend/life partner..
the question that arises here, is...WHY?!
the answer given to this is simple..
Everyone wants to be happy!
isn't it the biggest irony of life that we actually come to think of the above entities as the sole giver of "happiness", while these are the entities which have a BIG role in snatching happiness away from us!


Some people think they would  find happiness in showing off their possessions to others, some believe happiness can be found in living life "king size", some people try to get happiness by putting others down, or worse, hurting others etc etc.
However, the most refreshing and long lasting breeze of happiness is attained, not by the above mentioned  activities, but ironically, by actually "GIVING" to the society! quite contrary to what we all think eh?!
You may want to try this out..whenever, however low you may be feeling, for whatever reason it may be..just go out..and GIVE to the world! help an elderly person cross the road, give charity and i guarantee your heart would be both lightened and enlightened!

Don't run around the deception created by the media..trust me, you wont get happiness from a trendier cellphone, a more stylish car, or money! its just a mirage! Observe that a poor urchin can be happier than a millionaire!
